Photography Challenge: Week Three
I am going to be completely honest and admit I let myself off the hook about any stress I might have had regarding Week 3 of the Dogwood 52 Week Photography Challenge. As I mentioned before in my blog post about Week 2 (which you can read by clicking HERE), my work schedule last week was excessive, to say the least. I would leave my house as the sun was waking and return home hours after it had already gone to sleep. Without getting too into detail about the actual goings on at work, suffice to say afterward, I simply wanted to relax.
So, that’s what I did. I spent the free time I had this past weekend unwinding; watching movies and playing games. One of those games, the cards for which I hold in my hand, was “Sequence”.
Last year, I found myself burning the candle at both ends more often than I should have done. In 2019, one of the changes I wanted to make was to not see the use of my time so black and white – productive or wasteful – but to be present and acknowledge the grey area. There, in the moments when you’re doing something without any particular purpose aside from enjoyment, you can find the fuel you need for the next steps toward your goals in ways exceeding your expectations.
